About Us

HL Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Plumbing was started by Mark Eccleston. Mark has over 25 years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration having worked for, and with a number of large household name companies.

Identifying a need for smaller local companies to benefit from the same level of service demanded by and delivered to larger national chains, HL Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Plumbing was born.

Located in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, HL is a family run business with customer service at its core. We truly value every one of of clients and always aim to make sure that we develop a long lasting relationship with every one.

Many of our clients have discovered our services through using us for an air conditioning installation and then gone on to use us to provide regular maintenance for their refrigerated cabinets for example.

Our broad skillset means that we’re often able to complete an entire project for a client eliminating the need for multiple contractors and providing a single point of contact for ongoing maintenance and repairs.

Our clients are both commercial and domestic and covering the counties of Suffolk & Cambridgeshire means that we are often working in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Woodbridge and surrounding areas.
